Well I certainly wasn't going to write about this but Drudge just
plastered it all over his Report so here goes. Madonna had a fall in her
performance at an awards ceremony in London. I imagine that she's
alright for she got up, a little dishevelled, and finished the
performance.
She was dressed in scarlet, the curtains were scarlet, the bulls were scarlet, although they looked more like demons....with horns. One thing for sure is that they were beasts, you'll have to see for yourself. Anyway, Madonna is ascending the stage and the demons...or bulls...or whatever....were bowing down to her in some kind of worship. It looked she was trying to remove her cape for she was a matador, and fell backwards landing on her back and shoulders

OK this is Madonna, we expect things like crosses and religious symbols from her but what came to my mind as I viewed this were some verses in the Book of Revelation:
"And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH"
I'm not connecting the two for Madonna is all show, rather I'm pointing out that these forms of gross mockery of Scripture have become commonplace since at least the 60s and usually it's aimed at the young. Revelation 17: 3-5 depicts a scarlet beast and a woman arrayed in scarlet sitting on it, Madonna sits on one in the video, and therefore that's the color they will mock God with.
It is time to read the Book of Revelation, not with a Christian bestseller at hand to identify all the symbols, not in trying to decode it, but in a meditative mood for these things will indeed come to pass and the mockery today may be inspired by that scarlet beast.
