I'm going to attempt an analogy here.....we'll see where it goes. You're a football coach in the NFL....it's the last game of the playoffs against your hated rival.....the third game against them this year.....the winner goes to the Super Bowl....while the loser goes home. You've got to get the best out of your players.
You have two choices on how to go about this. This team you're playing....your longtime hated rival....gets your blood boiling just by hearing their name. They don't just play hard....they play dirty.....they cheat if they can.....and they rub it in on the occasions when they win. The first choice in motivating your players is to remind them of this each and every hour of every practice. You plaster the locker room with past news articles and quotes. You work the team up to where their veins are popping out. You don't let up....giving them absolutely no chance to lose that edge from their hate.
The second choice is totally different. Working them up by playing on their emotions may only make them lose control of themselves....and make mistakes in the game.....take penalties.....personal fouls. If by chance something should happen....some unforeseen outside occurrence that could put out their fire....then where are you....you've wasted vital preparation time and have to come up with something fast or you're going to start the game with one flat team.
No.....you will instead sit the team down and give them the hard facts of the situation.....that if they don't keep their heads in the practice.....if they don't clear their mind of outside distractions.....if they don't play up to their very best....then the other team will win....they'll rub it in....and we will go home having lost a golden opportunity to go to the coveted Super Bowl....something that we worked hard for.....punished our bodies for....for it will all be lost....nice try.....we'll come back next August....beat our bodies silly again.....and try to get the exact same place that we are in right now!
Folks....I gave up watching professional football a couple of decades ago because it is played on a day that God gave us to turn fully to Him to renew our strength....but I remember what it's like to have the Steelers assume a bigger part of my life than the God who gave me life. What I want to do here with this analogy is to tie it in with where conservatives are right now.
Shame on us if we don't already know how half of the country has lost all common sense and reason....who because of a hijacked educational system no longer think in a traditional liberal way....but are now programmed to only follow the commands of a few. We know who and what Senator Schumer is....and Nancy Pelosi.....and where the absurd rantings of a Rob Reiner comes from....and we know fully well the absurdities of these new deranged Democrats like Kamala Harris. We may not know what communism is because of 'higher' education's ignoring its horrors and methods and plans but we know what anarchy is for we see it in our streets. We know that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is a showcase for what was a waste of law school tuition. We know....and have known for decades.....how political judges could not care less about original intent.....and how they have turned to legislating from the bench.
So let's work ourselves into a lather of hate....telling and retelling these episodes of lunacy.....let's pound on each other's chest as they do in football.....scream in each other's face.....yell "lock her up....lock her up!" Let's contort every muscle in our face in displays of anger. Let's list every destructive thing they have done.....a thousand times over.....till a foaming spittle drips from out mouths. Yeah that's the ticket! It won't help a single thing.....but at least it keeps us from facing a reality that is numbingly more frightening than just high taxes and wasted money.
Friends....this country of ours is just about gone. We're not going to change the minds of those that progressive education turned into parched and arid desert sands. Yet another day.....and another President Trump tweet bomb.....destroying more of what's left of America. There is no reason for him to have made those comments on the Ninth Circuit other than continuing to daily stir us up in anger and rage. We already know what these judges are. Chief Justice Roberts apparently had heard one too many of these attacks on judges and gave a reasoned rebuke....but President Trump wouldn't let it lie. He can never take any criticism without a counter punch. Some joined in the attack on Trump's comments....other's joined in the attack on Chief Justice Robert's comments. The Supreme Court is now the worse for it....thanks to Donald Trump....who is a destroyer. As a coach he is running his players into the ground.....pumping them up so much that they are doing things they would not normally do. We need....as Americans who are God-fearing conservatives....to look seriously at what is a fait accompli....God's judgment on America....for ignoring His half century of scriptural warnings from men like Billy Graham. This is no game folks. This is where the analogy ends. If we knew what is ahead we would fall on our knees....fall on our knees! There is no winning this....no making America great again. We need to face that. There's only one true preparation and that is humbling ourselves before the One who created this nation to begin with. We were wrong....we rebelled....that's what we need to be told.
