It was the best couple of days.....and it was the worst couple of days.....those following the general election of 2016! It was the best couple of days because Donald Trump won.....it was the worst couple of days because Donald Trump won! It only took a few days to see Ivanka and Jared brought into the Oval Office which in effect showed those of us who weren't in a trance that there would be great disappointments ahead.
I gave myself a day off on November 9th from keeping in the front of my mind that God's judgment on America was upon us and growing each and every day. I just relished the fact that a quarter century of plotting by the most corrupt politician that America has ever known....Hillary Rodham Clinton.....would not have her feminist/goddess coronation. Christians everywhere were thankful on this day....but they were also carrying palm branches for another coronation.
Barack Obama was a judgment upon America.....and so was Donald Trump....not that he beat HRC....not really even that we chose him in the primary season.....but that we bought hook, line and sinker into the promises of this man who by his own admission has not in essence changed since he was eight years old....and that we looked to him as a savior. Donald Trump is a product....a product of greed and narcissism gone wild.
The Left....(I really don't like using that term that is nice talk for Communism).....the Left has always known what Donald Trump is like....for he lived and reigned among them. They weren't going to let him scam us with the very tactics by which they live and breath and have their evil being. We did not know who he was at the time of the primaries. We had a few magazine and newspaper articles and just relegated them to what would later come to be known as 'fake news.'
Donald Trump likes to brag about how many times his face was on the cover of Time Magazine....but he has also had quite a few biographies and quasi-biographies written about him....but we would never read them.....for once again they are 'fake news'....but in those books you would see a one-dimensional person....and that dimension revolves around him and him alone.
First we were forced to admit that he really has no ideology.....then we had to admit that he's not even close to a conservative....now we are even admitting that lying is his thing. President Trump needs to survey the situation and decide that a second term....(if we could even get there)....is out of the question. We need this decision.....for we need his full attention in the days ahead....we need a president who is not making decisions because of a reelection campaign. Which brings up possible impeachment proceedings.....Mueller's final report.....and possible indictments for Donald Trump after he leaves office.
Donald John Trump has attained the highest position in the entire world. Is this not enough for him? He has made changes that benefit us....(although any conservative Republican candidate would have done many of the same things)....but he has also made other serious issues worse.....North Korea being one. No he didn't drain the swamp.....he didn't even try.....and he dragged us down into his own personal swamp.
He is not Ronald Reagan.....he is Richard Nixon. Nixon survived. Donald Trump would also. What he needs to do right now is order the Department of Defense to built a wall....yesterday....as an emergency national defense measure. Would it be challenged? Of course. Ignore it and take it to the Supreme Court....it'll take a while to resolve and Americans would have that border defense that we need well under way. Yes there is risk here....what else is new?
I have likened President Trump to Nebuchadnezzar a number of times in these posts....."Is not this great Babylon, which I myself have built by the might of my power as a royal residence and for the glory of my majesty?" Is not Mar-a Lago Donald Trump's royal residence....and his empire and gilded Trump towers a glory to his own perceived majesty? God had Nebuchadnezzar eat grass in the field for seven whatevers until he realized that he wasn't the center of the universe. My hope is that Donald Trump sees his predicament....that this might be his seven whatevers....and that he might realize his limits and deficiencies....that he might forego a reelection imbroglio....and finally humble himself before God.
