I really didn't know that much about Donald Trump leading up to the 2016 Presidential primaries and campaign....he had a wife named Ivana....then he had a wife named Marla....then he had a wife named Melania....and sometimes he was referred to as.....'The Donald.' We took the television out of our house back in 1986 when I waved my hand between our year old son's face and the screen....and he didn't blink an eye....and we had no television for nine years. Even when I brought it back in we never had more than basic cable with no Fox News or CNN or any entertainment channels. I mentioned in an earlier post that I never saw a single episode of The Apprentice....not even a few minutes of the show. About a month ago I searched for and found a twenty minute clip on the second season. After watching this I shook my head and thought....'and this man is our president?'.
There wasn't enough time to research Donald Trump during the primaries or the lead-up to the general election. He won the election....we all celebrated....and then got down to business....some of us anyway.....the rest of us gave up thinking.
Ivanka was asked by Lesley Stahl on 60 Minutes in December of 2016....a month after the election....on the concern that some conservatives had about any role that she might have in her father's administration. Being the coy, shrewd, manipulative, ambitious power exec that she is....she dimpled...."Oh I'm going to be a daughter"....the apple did not fall far from the tree....as she lied so easily and naturally. Incredibly....she and her young no-nothing husband were brought into the highest levels of our government. It was time to research who this Donald Trump was!
At last count I had read 24 books on Trump....the figure is probably about thirty by now. It is not pretty. He is totally amoral....a shell of a person....tutored on God by Norman Vincent Peale. He's good at what he does....The Art Of The Deal....because there is nothing of substance to him to distract him.
The New York Post is reporting this morning that Steve Bannon...."predicts Trump to go 'full animal' now that Russia probe is over'." Bannon says that the "chains will come off"....and "he (Trump) will use them to bludgeon them. (his enemies)" Folks....Trump bluffs a lot.....he's making noises now but he does things like that just to spite people that he hates....He likes inflicting pain....and there is a lot going on behind the scene in this Mueller probe release that we will not even know about for months if not years....so I don't know if Trump will now go "full animal" on his enemies....but I know this.....after a couple years of research on the man....I know this.....he is not only capable of it....that is who he is....that is what he relishes.....and this is the champion of Christians....who God sent to make America great again!
