If the reader were to research back seven years in these posts.....they would find one very long prayer.....for Donald Trump.....(last posted February 27, 2019)....and they would find a short fictitious dialogue within a post where a reformed pastor has President Trump's ear in the Oval Office....and tells it to him like it is....that he like everyone else needs to repent and believe in Jesus Christ.....not just play this....'say a few words and your one of us'....game that all of his so-called 'spiritual advisors play with him. The reader would many times find me hoping that this man Donald Trump would not seek reelection....because he had screwed up far too many times....and become too divisive....and that I hoped that would leave office....with honor....being satisfied in having become President of the United States! I hoped that he would become an elder statesman. I wished the best for his family.I voted for Trump....and celebrated when he won....but it became obvious after only a few months that something was terribly wrong. I started reading about this man that I really did not know much about. I am over ninety books now....with three new ones sitting on the shelf.....books for him and against him and supposedly by him....books on every decade of his life....and on every aspect of his public life.
Donald Trump is a destroyer. After a half century of one investigation or probe of his activities after another....he is either purposely trying to destroy someone who criticized him....or others who flew too close to his flame are crashing to the ground in flames. He has essentially destroyed the Republican Party....(how else could Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz come to prominence)....and severely compromised the conservative movement. Fox News has long ago forsaken honest news reporting....and evangelicalism took their eyes off of Christ as Trump descended that escalator in June of 2015....and never looked back.
They all thought that they could handle him.....' let Trump be Trump'....they said....but were themselves manhandled....and bewitched. We are only a shell of we once were....defending a man who uses and abuses us.
