You are not a gambler are you? You would never throw down hundreds or thousands of dollars on who would score more points in some kind of game. Yes....you are solid common sense in just everything in life.....insurance....investing....saving money....buying cars....doctor checkups. I had an elderly family member give out personal information recently in a phone scam....even though she had been told many times never to do that. Pretty bad huh....but let me tell you this....you are doing something worse! You are in the biggest club in the world in that you do not want to hear anything about having to be born again. You are your own person....you made up your mind....right or wrong you will face up to it someday. That's not the problem....the problem is that you are effectively making this decision for others whom you love. You may not care....but what about your children....or your parents....your spouse? Addendum: Are you tired of hearing about all this born again stuff. You've gone to church all your life....put a sizable amount of money in the collection plate over the years....vote Republican....what more could God possibly want? If this is you then you need to find some resolution to this problem....and quickly....for you have been driving a long time with the check engine light on and unnoticed. John Piper has a sermon for you on this. Just Google....John Piper YouTube, Why Do We Need To Be Born Again. Come on....I know you are sick of hearing about this....so settle it once and for all!' Surely you have forty-one minutes and fifteen seconds somewhere in your life don't you? I'll give you one very good reason....apart from your own soul....that you should consider this. You love your children more than yourself. Maybe they are adults now....maybe it is your parents....and they are wonderful people....but have they ever been truly converted to trusting in Christ alone....do they even know what that means? Are you willing to take this chance?
