"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem"....this from Psalm 122....is followed in Psalm 123 by anguish over the level of contempt for Israel....but then we read these words in Psalm 124....
"If it had not been the LORD who was on our side,
Let Israel now say-
If it had not been the LORD who was on our side,
When men rose up against us,
Then they would have swallowed us alive,
When their wrath was kindled against us." Psalm 124:
May the faith and hope in all of us be this....the last verse of Psalm 124...
"Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth."
