Who Are These Guys?

                It is becoming more often my morning when I wake up and wonder if I am doing any good at all with these posts....but then after I am fully awake....and downstairs as the day begins....something just comes to mind that I want to write about...so it is another 24 hour reprieve before I will have that thought again.
                As I came downstairs today I did have something that I wanted to post on....but then as usual I go to John Piper's ministry website to see what the offering for the day is....I saw that it is a Greg Morse twelve minute or so reading. I need to segue a little bit here....
                In the past year or so John Piper has shared his daily Internet desiringgod.org with a group of presumably young men who I assume are under his ministerial care and guidance. Whatever that situation might be....these young men are on the extraordinary side....to put it mildly....as it comes to wisdom! I'm reminded of Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid....whereas Lord Baltimore was always on their tail....they would a few times look back....and see the dust from the horse's hoofs and say...."Who are those guys?"
                So....who are these guys that Piper has? Well....one is Greg Morse....who never fails to calm me....and encourage me. Today is just such a day with an offering of his titled....Why Not Me? The Quiet and Consuming Eye of Envy. I had to laugh out loud....softly....a few times....as he seemed to be talking directly to me. This is what Spurgeon and Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Piper have done so often to me....and always I utter that involuntary laugh....as the Holy Spirit cleared things up in my mind....through these preachers....and told me what I needed to know!
