There are a couple of days a week that I have some duties to perform....and today was one of those days....and I was a little worn out as I got into my truck....and thought that I might just drive the twenty-five minutes home in quiet....and then I thought again.....for it has been my habit for many years now....maybe 90% of the time....to listen to a sermon on any ride of any length at all....from as I like to put it....either.....men from the past....such as Spurgeon or Martyn Lloyd-Jones....or men today who preach like men from the past....such as John MacArthur or R. C. Sproul or John Piper. So...I Googled a sermon....let's see....maybe Jonathan Edwards today....and picked the first sermon on the list....and as I often do at times like this....I had to laugh.....for the sermon was on not wasting our precious time. Here is that sermon if you are interested....
Note: From a passion for the game....cricket....to a passion as a Missionary for Christ....the title is the last poetic stanza of his famous poem....One Life....C. T. Studd (19th century)
