Dispatches From Da Nang, Communist Vietnam

President Trump's press secretary released a statement overnight on Roy Moore that included these words..."Like most Americans the president believes we cannot allow a mere allegation, in this case one from many years ago, to destroy a person's life." It's ironic that Donald Trump released this weak statement while in communist Vietnam after leaving communist Red China.....and on the day before our Veterans Day.....and in the city that Roy Moore commanded a military police company.
Mr. President.....this concept of "a person's life" that you speak of....which can be ascribed to every Christian....which cannot be destroyed in a political arena....is that of one once lost.....with no hope....plucked out of the fire.....adopted into God's family.....given an inheritance that is incomparable to anything that you can imagine. They could burn Roy Moore at the stake and the smell of smoke would not overcome the aroma of grace and truth and righteousness and mercy and everlasting love that envelops his life.....and the life of every redeemed man and woman who loves this glorious Savior....and coming King.....Jesus Christ!
If I were to choose a Bible verse for today it might be ".....woe to the earth, and the sea, for the Devil has come down to you with great fury, because he knows he has a short time." This is from the 12th chapter of the book of Revelation which itself begins with this...."Blessed is the one who reads and blessed are those who hear the words of this prophesy and keep what is written in it, because the time is near!"
