This anti-vaxxer movement is a mutation of sorts of the radical element of MAGA....the same driving force that gave us Q. That activists such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Alex Jones have taken center-stage should be expected. When something is too off-the-wall for Donald Trump then you know there are serious problems with it.
As for those who say that this is against their Christian beliefs....they forget that it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles....but what comes out of the mouth.....for this would be more akin to the Jehovah Witness refusal to have a blood transfusion. It is cultic....delusional....and paranoid. There was a day when the Witness was not allowed to be vaccinated....but that had to be dropped.....for the children could not attend school.
The epistle of Jude speaks to this type of movement in the Republican Party today...."But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. Woe to them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit..." (verses 10 &11)
Conservatives had been accustomed to using their minds....but Donald Trump took that away from them.....demanding all the attention to his person....and eliminating the need for debate of any kind....carefully choosing what information to disperse through talk radio and cable television....and what information to brand 'fake news'.....and disfellowshipping those who do not obey....which is what we are right now doing to Congresswoman Liz Cheney.
Many years ago two Jehovah Witnesses came to my door....not expecting to meet someone that read extensively into their religion. At the end of the conversation....which was quick....I put out my hand and offered a copy of a 1983 book....Crisis Of Conscience....by Raymond Franz....a former member of their governing body....who had seen the errors that had been followed. My visitor's hands immediately went up.....no they would not accept this book....for it was the....'fake news'.....of the day....the same kind of 'fake news'....that conservatives refuse to read about Trump today.
Update: A Christian friend just today told me that Covid-19 vaccines are made with aborted fetuses. You can easily research this in ten minutes or less. Two aborted fetuses were procured by scientists in 1965....and what are called....'cell lines'....were developed from which a vaccine can be discovered. These cells have continued to divide thousands of times. No new cells to form cell lines were or are needed. Many vaccines were developed using this process including chicken pox and hepatitis A and even measles and shingles. I encourage you to research this for yourself....for there are some variations as in 1985 where a different company used different cells. My friends statement was incorrect....but look into this on your own....and make up your own mind....through your own research.
I wanted to add this aspect of the vaccine debate. I have had Christians tell me that they are concerned that there may be harmful after-effects from a vaccine. Consequently they say that they are just trusting in the Lord that if they get the virus that He will protect them. When after-effects from the vaccine are the object....there doesn't seem to be that trust in the Lord to protect them? There is a problem with logic here....as they trust in the Lord with the virus....but not something like the after-effects....meanwhile....multitudes....the result of this confusion....utterly refuse to receive a vaccination....the result of this having been not only tens of thousands of additional deaths....bare minimum....but an unnecessary war on vaccines....and the personal reputations of those scientists involved attacked unmercifully....to the point of death threats....and finally mandates....further exacerbating the entire ungodly mess.
