Where Have All The Pastors Gone.....Long Time Passing....

                My take if you will....my opinion....on evangelicalism today....right at this moment....is that it is in the midst of a colossal collapse. Am I or anyone today even allowed to have an opinion such as that?
                I'm bringing this up as it relates to the Scripture's warnings to us that there will be great delusion in the last days....so great that if possible....even the elect would fall for it. 
                All of this begins in earnest with Donald Trump....the destroyer....the man where just about everything that comes in contact will him gets destroyed.....from conservatism to the Republican Party to conservative talk radio to a myriad of individuals from Rudy Giuliani to Ted Cruz. Some....many actually....Trump just sets out to destroy like Liz Cheney....who was one of the last members of Congress to stand strong against Trump....but who who has since herself fallen into absurdity as she campaigns with and for Harris. Others just fly too close to the flame....Ted Cruz would fall into that category.
                I don't think that we have any idea what the glory of God is anymore. We don't know the purpose of a sermon on the Lord's Day....we don't even know what the Lord's Day is anymore. We don't understand the necessity of being born again anymore....nor do we tremble at the holiness of God. One walk through the Christian book section of Barnes & Noble should be enough to see that either no one knows how to write a powerful Christian book anymore....or there are not enough of us out here that would recognize a powerful book to make it profitable to write one.
                Let me say in the middle of this post that of course there are exceptions on every single topic that I would bring up. There are wonderful and discerning preachers out there....but so few of them percentage-wise that I can make these general statements about evangelicalism.
                 Trump came down that escalator back in 2015....and slowly but surely we collapsed. We are one angry people right now....and our anger is directed.....not at anything concerning attacks on the gospel of Jesus Christ....but at what we perceive as the devil's own....the Democrats....or their demonic cousins the deep state....or Fauci....or global warming. Evangelicals will bite my head off if I happen to mention anything in a positive way about the evil opposition.
                  Trump has to be the single most dishonest person ever....ever...to make it to the Oval Office.....and we utterly refuse to even consider the evidence behind this....for he is our god! How on God's green earth did a person like Marjorie Taylor Greene become one of our spokespeople? How did Vladimir Putin come to be a hero?
                  This is blindness folks.....God has taken away our discernment....because we proved that it wasn't God's commands that we were defending....but that we only wanted our way of life back....our own future.....and then used God's name as an excuse! 
                   Whatever delusions and exceptions are down the line....we are defenseless against them. A winnowing is going on right now....as evangelicals here and there are stepping back in horror as God is clearing the fog away. Trump is going to find out before too long....if he does not already know....that if he does not keep a short leash on evangelicals....they will walk....even run away from him! Admittedly....this group is the vast majority right now....but as that majority lessens....Christians....born again evangelicals as opposed to just conservative evangelicals....may become the enemy.
                   I have some advice for those who made it this far in this post....get rid of these talking heads on Fox cable and talk radio and all the assorted podcasters. This movement is not of God. Get rid of them as if you were an alcoholic and someone offered you a bottle whiskey. They are dragging you into the muck and the mire. Run from them....and second....make the effort....find the word of God preached in sermons on the Internet from either....men from the past.....(Spurgeon or Martyn Lloyd-Jones)....or men today who preach like men from the past....(Piper or Sproul or MacArthur....there are many others)....for you are not going to be fed and strengthened  or warned in the average pulpits of today!
                   There are a lot of news stories on this right now....and they all seem to agree.....Oklahoma apparently has mandated that all classrooms have a Bible in them....Oklahoma is taking bids from publishers that can provided 55,000 Bibles....that meet these specifications....NKJV.....OT and NT....leather or similar to leather covers....and contains within it....the Pledge of Allegiance.....the Declaration of Independence....the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. This in itself should bring us to tears! As of now there are only two Bibles out there that meet those requirements....the Trump Bible....and another Bible endorsed by Trump Junior. May God have mercy upon us. Trump as of late in his rallies has been promising a coming....Golden Age....for America.....if we join in with him. He is a false prophet folks....promising peace and security. Paraphrasing that old classic folk song....
