Preface: When a nation is as if under siege....it could be military or economic or political or domestic....it often opens the door to a tyrant....for he stops the hemorrhaging....and promises to make the country great again.
It was 1965....and Billy Graham was working on a book when his wife Ruth commented to him that if God doesn't soon judge Ameria he would have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. Forty-seven years later....in 2012....Billy wrote in an Open Letter To America about that comment that Ruth had made to him way back when....so in time the quote was attributed to him. Yeah....2012 was worse than 1965....and 2025 is ten times worse than 2012.
Forty years ago we in the church knew that God was going to have to bring some kind of judgment on America....but what kind of judgment would it be? We've had assassinations and wars and Wall Street meltdowns and impeachments and violence....and we had a pandemic.
I watched all of this....and lived through every bit of it. On some things there is no guesswork or even analysis needed. The four horsemen of Revelation 6 is very clear...red is definitely war....war is coming....and then there is famine and death....but what about the rider on the white horse?
Historically much of the church....and even much of the church today....believes that the rider is Christ....but that just doesn't fit....and it doesn't fit in with the rest of God's Word that there is going to be a lack of faith and falling away at the end. Most of the church probably believes that the rider is the antichrist....the crown means that he becomes the leader of the world....and the bow without arrows means that everyone thinks that he is a man of peace.
Whatever it is....we are there. Israel and 1948 cannot be explained away. If one cannot see this then one does not want to see this....but again....what about the rider on the white horse? On occasion I've brought up this theory....corona means crown....coronavirus....and bow....the origin of the word....essentially means poison....because the Greeks would dip the point of the arrow in poison....but there is more in God's Word than a crown and a bow....for this rider comes...."conquering....and to conquer."
I voted for Trump in 2016 but it only took a couple of months to see that something was terribly wrong. Few of us evangelicals knew much about him other than what made the covers of tabloids. I never saw a single minute of his TV show where he fired people all the time. I knew he was married three times....golfed....owned an airline and a few other things like that....and that's it. Well I started reading to see who he was. I am on book number 107 right now. I feel like I know enough about him to be a biographer....and what I consistently see over all those years of his life....is that he is a destroyer. He destroys. He either purposely destroys....like what he tries to do with Fauci....or people are destroyed just by flying too close to his flame. He has destroyed the Republican Party....for right now it is just a Trump Party....with no compassion or ethics or integrity. He destroyed conservatism. He is destroying multiple necessary agencies in the government....and worst of all....he....let me use a different word here....he decimated evangelicalism. We have lost our vision....and our compassion....and although on the outside we may even look vibrant....on the inside we at the very least....have lost our first love....we are in it for ourselves today....America First....has become....Me First.
Trump had some good people around him in his first term....but not so this time. He blew it with the pandemic....and then incited an insurrection when he lost in 2020. Something changed in him after that. Whether he fully went crazy....or whether something supernatural possessed him....I don't know....but for eight months now he has come...."conquering....and to conquer!"
Trump has to outrage someone every day of his life. There has to be some executive order signed or some outrageous idea proposed every day....to keep the pot stirred....and the sheep from thinking for themselves.
Try to imagine this....we know how Trump just does whatever he wants to do right now....successfully....because the Democrat Party is totally lost....wokism destroyed the intellect long ago....and the Republican Party is....all of those in congress and with jobs in government....scared out of their mind to say anything against or even question Trump or they will be purged
The media is running scared also....who would have thunk it? He rules all the intelligence agencies....and the military....and the chief law enforcement offices!
So here it is....imagine that if he can do all of this simply because all of his bullies are knocking heads together....
Imagine what he would do in an emergency situation....devastation or catastrophe or a dystopia of some sort?
I have to ask this again....if Trump acts like a monarch or a dictator right now....imagine what he would do when there would be no constraints on him whatsoever!
