I watched the preliminaries to the White House Correspondents Association dinner for about an hour....as the people slowly entered the foyer of the Hilton....and then mulled around the tables inside. It was all laughter....at times raucous guffaws. As the dinner was starting....a famous....'mentalist'....whatever that is....(a modern day soothsayer?)....was plying his craft on the dais to both the president and first lady....as the president of the White House Correspondents Association....in overhearing his words....seemed amazed at what he was telling him....and then....in a manner of speaking....the handwriting appeared on the wall....and what followed was tense chaos....a horror scene that we are becoming all too familiar with. The annual State of the Union Address.....and this White House Correspondent's Dinner....and there are a number of other events....serve no purpose in the combative climate that we live in today. At least the upcoming UFC fight night on the White House lawn fits in with the absurdities that are everywhere else. There is talk that they want to reschedule this dinner within the next 30 days.....which is beyond absurd....into lunacy.

               In a few days we will begin a four day inauguration celebration....Saturday through Tuesday. There will be three balls....Carrie Underwood and Lee Greenwood and the Village People will sing. Franklin Graham will pray. There will be a....Make America Great Again Rally....on the Lord's Day at 3:00 PM in the sports arena. Evangelicals are primed for the "feast".

               We believe that great things are about to happen because Donald Trump will be back in the White House. All gone...is God's fifty years plus warnings to us that judgment was coming....all because we have Trump and a Republican Congress....and new cabinet members. All forgotten is the decades long judgements....one after another....building to a crescendo....only the latest being Los Angeles....as we are about to celebrate the dawn of a new....Golden Age in America! We in effect....blew off God's warnings. We are far more godless of a people....both on the left and on the right....than we ever were. On the right....including evangelicals....we are drunk with the promise of economic gain....and national glory....and have been steered away from Jesus Christ....but God will not be mocked.
