"Easy To Do Justice....Very Hard To Do Right"

Even an infant needs a passport to travel outside of the United States or its territories. If a South American woman gives birth while here....she does not need a passport to take her child home....but if she stays and claims the child to be a United States citizen....and later wants to travel back to South America....she would need a passport for the child. I believe that would be the case anyway. I always....going way back....looked at the 'birthright' issue to be indicative of the greatness of America. This was such a special place that even if one is just born here....they have the right to be a citizen. I don't have an opinion as to the actual constitutionality of the birthright issue....in spite of all that is written about it in the news....because I haven't been able to fully understand all the particulars....but I know this from God's Word....because I do understand the particulars....if a widow needs help....give it to her. If the poor need help....give it to them. If a child needs help....give it to him or her. We know that if the government tells us to do something against God's Word....then we should not do it....but in this case....are we not demanding of the government that it does something against God's Word? God's Word says in effect that if a man asks for a loaf of bread....give it to him....but Paul said that if a man does not work.....do not give him a loaf of bread? These are not contradictory statements. The Christian has the mind of Christ to see this. We need the mind of Christ to deal with this birthright issue....not the mind of Donald Trump. There was a movie about thirty years ago....based on a play of about a hundred years ago....where the chief protagonist on the legal issue of the plot.....made this statement...."Easy to do justice....very hard to do right." It might possibly be easy to do justice on this issue of birthright citizenship....but it is very hard to do right....yet that is what we have to endeavor to do!
