House Of Cards

The term 'house of cards' apparently goes well back into the 17th century. It points to a structure built where if one key piece is removed the entire structure will fall. Presdent Trump's foreign policy is a house of cards. China is a mess. The president trusted not in a man but in an ideology....communism.....and that doesn't appear to be working out too well.. There's a key election coming up in that behemoth of a nation later this year... well...the Communist party delegates will vote anyway... and to make matters worse they have a bubble economy right now. We had better not depend on them for the time of day.
So what's happening with the navy and candidate Trump's promise to build the fleet up to 355 ships? Well nothings happening really. There are plans..."under discussion"... to drastically increase the number of seamen but that's essentially what they are....plans. President Trump's budget for navy ships is about the same as was President Obama's. The budget...and entitlements....come first.
President Trump is overextending himself right now. He's listening to somebody that he shouldn't be listening to. The dye has been cast on North Korea.  Syria is a disaster in the making. This is the deep state back in charge and their strategies in play and can very easily bring Russia into armed conflict with us. And for what? If you believe that President Trump is doing this to protect the people in Syria then you have taken the bait....hook...line...and sinker....but no one really cares. Everyone is focused on CNN right now. That's what's important....seeing the Democrats squirm.
Well we still have the draft anyway. Think about that for a minute. Who gets drafted and who doesn't? There won't be any student deferments this time around.....finish your semester and it's ..."Greetings." The ships and the armaments will be started on in a hurry because they will be needed immediately. But don't bother the Republican Congress with this... they're too busy making sure that the health insurance companies continue to make huge profits. And don't mention the bubbles in our economy either....they like to think positive!
