Whether On Papyrus Or Parchment.....Or Paper Or Digitized

This verse is God's message to pastors today....from Jeremiah 1:8....who are fearful to preach what they know should be preached.

Be not afraid because of them; for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith Jehovah.Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee; be not dismayed at them, lest I dismay thee before them.

Jeremiah....O Jeremiah....how you loved your city and your people....but even more how you loved God....who told you at such a young age that you were to warn His people that they had rejected Him....and that He had chosen you from the womb....and that you would pay such a dear price. Little did you know as a young boy how long you would have to plead with these people....and how many Kings of Judah you would....face to face...have to tell that their chosen prophets....who prophesied peace and prosperity....were false prophets....and O how you would weep as you saw it come to pass....the people hungry within the walls....walls that would be breached by the Babylonians who you had warned of....and the temple burned to the ground. Even as Nebuchadnezzar set you free....because you had warned your people to accept their punishment....you would still see your words from God rejected....and only God knows how the end of your tears finally came about....but we know today....as those words given you by God....who you had given to Baruch to write down....speak a warning every bit as much to us....as we are just as stiff-necked as those you had pleaded with as you took their insults and persecutions. We know that your tears are dried up....as you now see the LORD in His glory.....that you once only heard with your ears....and that those today who heed the warnings that you and so many others had faithfully given....will also some day see the LORD in His glory. Though today we may not see that glory....we feel it....and know it to be true....much because faithful men like you had simply written down....on parchment and papyrus....words that today are recorded on paper and digitized....that which were given to them.
