Preface July 4: Do you really need Tucker Carlson and Mark Levin and Breitbart radio to tell you what to do? They are not helping the Christian at all! Get on your knees and open the Word of God. Maybe you could then call up the radio hosts and tell them what they are missing....but they probably won't take your call.... for their screeners select very carefully who gets to say anything.

There cannot be more than 10% of Americans who are genuine redeemed Christians....and the actual figure is probably less....as in biblical terms...."Few are saved." We should be able to see this in the many and various polls and surveys taken....not only recently....but over many decades.....surveys not asking if one is a Christian or not.....for most would answer in the affirmative....but surveys of one's personal beliefs.
Pew and other pollsters are always asking people if they believe in hell. That figure has been settling in about 62%. So right there....38% of respondants are eliminated.....for how can one not believe God's Word on this and still be a Christian? The positive figure here includes millions of members of Christian cults.....and other religions that are certainly not Christian....so that figure as it relates to one's salvation is lowered even more.....and this is only one question....where Christ and the cross and so many other very clear and absolutely necessary doctinal truths had yet to be included in the survey.
It may have been G. K. Chesterton who coined the term....'Christendom'....where to all outward appearances nations and churches and individuals appear 'Christian'.....but this was and is a cultural appelative. The US and the UK and Canada and Italy and on and on....are all part of ....'Christendom.' The phrase....'God fearing'.....is more helpful.....in that it can accurately describe a people or an individual who really and truly believes in God.....but even this says nothing about how this 'God' saves for eternity.

For the above figure of 10% to be raised significantly....which it always is....often to a majority status....the gospel of Jesus Christ would have to be significantly changed.....and that unfortunately is exactly what happens!
I want to segue here greatly.....into politics of all things. There are new articles coming out all the time on how politics has poisoned evangelicalism. Atlantic Magazine has one in its June edition....and Drudge highlighted another article over the weekend and titled it...."Christian Nationalism." 'Conservative' talk radio.....multiple popular podcasters.....Fox and the various newer one-sided news organisations....these are all part of....'Christendom'....and have no direct relation to any salvation described in God's Word....and have become our new pulpits in evangelicalism....the older ones merely slinking into the background.....confused and unable to to address the only hope that man has.....Jesus Christ.
My sole purpose in this particular post is in the advice that I give often.....as to talk radio and these many podcasters and Fox and the other politically created news networks.....flee them! Flee them or be wary and vigilant and prayerful every time that you are exposed to them! They are that which the above verses from Isaiah allude to.
Whether it be entering into alliances with those who are not of us....in order to protect our way of life....(we have done this with Trump....resulting in great damage to evangelicalism).....or whether living in fear of others who have entered into alliances to defeat us.....(the progressive left and communism etc.)....and this 'consiracy' being used by others yet....(Fox and talk radio etc.)....to keep us in bondage to them.....these we are not to "hallow"....or to use as a "sanctuary"....because they will only be a "stumbling block."

We are to hallow the Lord.....and to fear the Lord....and to trust in Him only. We can partake in choosing godly leaders if possible....but this in itself can become or at least eminate from an idolatry that we hold more dear than the gospel of our Lord and Savior and coming King....Jesus Christ....who is still a....stumbling block....to the unbeliever....and also to us...."Both houses of Israel'....in that as Peter referenced the term....(1 Peter 2)....we can stumble over this....and join in where we should remain separate.
