So he is someone that I could speak to without his answering before he would at least meditate a little on what I would say."
The above paragraph was the preface to a 2023 post. The title of the post that I alluded to was....Is Donald Trump The Antichrist. Donald John Trump....born on a Blood Moon on June 14, 1946 is most definitely....an....antichrist.....as the Apostle John described them in his epistle. That's right folks...we are praying in our churches right now for...an antichrist....to become our president again! Trump is a destroyer....of the Republican Party....evangelicalism....enemies....even supporters who fly too close to his flame! He destroys!
Back to my friend at that picnic....I laid out my case that Trump was at least a candidate for the Antichrist....just as Barack Obama was and still is a....candidate....for the Antichrist. This friend was not going to outright reject the possibility....he tends think over things before blurting out an objection....but he also was not going to just accept my theory. There was no one at the time....(other than the MAGA people who will believe anything without giving any thought at all to it)....(I hope that you remember this Trump 2016 quote...."I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?")....no one at the time who after two impeachments....and January 6....believed that Trump could resurrect himself. My friend stated that if somehow Trump could become the Republican candidate again....then he would have to seriously consider what I said. Well....that happened....Trump has been resurrected. I don't push people in conversations. In fact he lives next to me and I never brought the topic up again....and I doubt if he even reads these posts....because these are the last things that Christians today want to think about! My point here is that Donald Trump has a powerful sway over people's minds....even the minds of Christians....and we in the church had better take seriously the possibility that Donald Trump....vacant of any conscience on anything....could be an available vessel to be employed as the Antichrist....and we had better take seriously the charges that he is already....an....antichrist!
The prevailing majority opinion within Christianity today is that the Antichrist will come out of a revived Roman Empire. Israel is going to think that he is their friend. He will either come back to life after a mortal head wound....or come back to power after one of his heads are mortally wounded. Whoever this man is....if it is indeed a man....(it could possibly be an image from AI)....Satan would have entered into him....and he is going to want to be worshiped. We don't know if the "temple" mentioned is a newly built temple in Jerusalem...or a makeshift temple....or the church....or the temple of man himself. He is going to promise Israel something....and then break that promise. We just don't know for sure but we had better start thinking about it!
Is the White Horse from Revelation chapter six the Antichrist? Maybe....maybe not. I speculated that it might even have been the coronavirus....with the "crown" being the corona and the "bow"...pointing to the Greek origin of the word 'bow' that means poison. We had better begin to think about these things.
What about this seven year covenant made with Israel. Will we even know when the covenant is made? We don't know what really goes on in these meetings that happen all the time between the US President and the Israeli Prime Minister!
We should be thinking about these things....and talking about them....and praying about them! God's Word speaks of a "great delusion" coming....shouldn't that at least peak our interest....and that if possible even the elect would be taken in....shouldn't that put the fear of God into us?
Paul warned us....Peter warned us.....Jesus Himself warned us to be vigilant but all we can muster in our Bible study of prophecy is that we will not know the day or the hour....but Jesus said six verses later...."Watch therefore, for you do not know what day your Lord is coming." Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:4....."But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief."
Folks....the Antichrist is here in some form right now....and our Lord and Savior and King is near....and we are having our picnics and watching sports. This is delusion. Where is the logic in this?
Right now there are more people reading these warnings....and encouragements....from Israel....from Israel.....throughout each and every day....than from the United States of America. We simply do not care....and don't want to be bothered with....anything that takes our mind off of our real passion....which is ourselves! May God have mercy on our pastors....our shepherds....who want more sheep.....but do little to nothing to protect those sheep!
Addendum: I was in a small struggling Christian bookstore today. I stop in every once in a while and buy something....anything....to give the owner another sale. I related this in a previous post....about a year ago the book that I bought was sitting there in a stack of about twelve copies. It was obvious that they were donated to him to sell....probably by the author's home church....that author being the well-known local preacher John Guest....and the book...The Preacher's Commentary on Jeremiah. Well.....that book turned out to be a gold mine on the study of Jeremiah...and I have posted on it here a number of times. So....today....that stack of books was still there. I do no think that he sold a single copy since then! Today....needing to find something to buy I purchased John Hagee's best-selling 2013....Four Blood Moons....Something Is About To Change. I finished it in the few hours since returning home. It's a very easy read. In that book Pastor Hagee....who was a huge Donald Trump supporter....may now be seeing Donald Trump for who he is....wrote these words on page 51....
"The next Tetrad will end in September of 2015, which will include the Year of Shemittah. Will a crises happen as before? What earth shaking event will it be?" Well folks....Donald Trump famously came down that golden escalator on June 16 of 2015....right in the middle of that Tetrad! There was the crises that he was concerned about!
