Donald Trump once again exposed a serious weakness for all of our enemies to observe in his juvenile retaliation to two vaudevillian liberal news personalities. Our enemies surely have this episode notated in bold letters somewhere on their dry erase boards for they may very well be able to fashion a way to get under the American president's skin at a crucial time.
So are we conservatives concerned with this disturbing display of unattractive rancor? Far from it. Vladimir Putin is slyly grinning over this, Communist Chinese Party members are looking at each other and nodding their heads while terrorists are probably drooling....but we somehow consider this to be....fighting back.
Folks, if Donald Trump is such a fighter where was he when the establishment elites bullied and coerced their way back into leadership? He didn't put up much of a fight there or on healthcare or on a host of other promises that he has walked back on.
Had this been Barack Obama....and it has been on many occasions...("if they bring a knife...").... we would have been all over him....and we were.... but since it's our president...."he's a fighter." We are showing ourselves on matters like this to be little better than those whom we railed against. We know that President Trump has some character flaws....but we say nothing.....we have no faith in just doing what is right....and thus we find ourselves in the same swamp with everyone else.
Friends, believe me I know that it's more than difficult to have christened a champion and then find out that he's less a champion than you thought but consider this....Donald Trump is not the center of all things as related to America at least turning itself around. Politically we stopped the steep side into the Marxist (aka Progressive) abyss. There is nothing the other side can do right now to push us into that descent again.
The Establishment wants back in. They want Donald Trump and in this area he's not putting up much of a fight. If you want to support our president, which I do, let him know that he didn't start this awakening...that he joined it. I know that you didn't think that this would be easy, for you worked hard defeating Hillary Clinton, but November 8th was not the finish line, and the origin of the extreme difficulties that we face are much more than political. A beginning would be to take Donald Trump out of the center of our hopes and look to the one who has been the source of everything good that America has ever done....that would be the Lord of Glory and the coming King...The Lord Jesus Christ.
