Here are some questions for someone....anyone.....to mull over in their own mind. Should God's mighty army of holy angels be preparing right now to return with their Lord and with our Lord....do you think that you would would want to know? Do you think that God would want you to know? Have you studied the tribulation period in God's Word....and have you any idea how bad that is going to be? What do you think about the delusion that would be coming...any chance that Christians might be in danger of falling for this? What do you think about the 'brother against brother' type of verses describing that period? Is there no spiritual or material preparations that you would do for you and your family? Do you by any chance believe that there is a rapture coming first....and if so are you certain that that is what God's Word describes? Have you ever looked around at this world and sincerely prayed..."Lord Jesus come!"? The following is my Lord's Day post:
It is perfectly natural and I don't see any problem with it if we keep it in its proper place....speculation. Christians at times....surveying the collapse of civilization as we have known it.....oftentimes wonder if this person or that person might be the Antichrist. I remember when Mikhail Gorbachev was giving a speech in Jerusalem.....and a dove alighted down and settled on his shoulder. He was in the middle of bringing 'peace' to the world and had a mark on his forehead that some thought resembled the Hebrew number six. And then there was the first nomination of Barack Obama. The stage that was specifically crafted for him looked just like the Pergamon Altar....the Altar Of Zeus....or the Throne of Satan as it is known by some.....and on top of the football stadium in Denver where the acceptance speech was held was a giant white horse. (you can easily Google this for yourself) The Pergamon Altar had been transported long ago to the Pergamon Museum in Berlin but is now under wraps in a major renovation....and scheduled to reopen in 2024. I even think about Donald Trump from time to time. Here is a mind.....in a 72 year old man.....still waiting to be occupied with a genuine belief system beyond finance....which brings me to the topic of this post.....AI.....or artificial intelligence.
Disaster and catastrophe waits in the wings with this new invention. The evidence of this is there but we are a culture that has bypassed the need for evidence.....replacing it with personal, immediate and biased opinion. We have real difficulty going beyond face value on issues. If a radio talk show host tells us something.....that's good enough for us....no need to really think it through. In AI the machine will think for itself. It will construct....it will guide.....it will proclaim....in short it will take over. Man is about to relinquish its autonomy to what will be perceived to be a superior intellect. The hard physical aspect of this may indeed be a few years off....for scientists are still in the process of putting it together.....but not only could Satan take up residence in a vacuum such as this....it is becoming more and more possible that he may do just that.
So returning to my first thoughts in this post....how much freedom do we have to speculate on last days....tribulation type of thinking? Why would God have something as striking as a dove alighting on a man of world peace....in Jerusalem....or a nomination stage that looks just like the Throne of Satan? Was it God that did this.....or did He rather just permit someone else to do this to us. What about Jonathan Cahn's theory from his book The Paradigm or his earlier book The Harbinger? If you have read these books then you know what I'm talking about. This is not coincidence.....but is it God instructing us?
The theory in The Paradigm is that President Trump is the Old Testament character of Jehu....who after dispensing of Jezebel....or Hilary if you will....proceeded to rid Israel of the Baals. Laugh if you want but if you read the book you won't quite be laughing anymore. The fact that Jehu may have rid Israel of the Baals but kept the Asherah trees or poles.....and then later had to bow to his enemy hasn't quite been considered by us as of yet.
And then there are the more educated among us who look down their noses at anyone who might actually think for themselves....as if God would possibly move in a common person before filling them in first? There's not much freedom here in the Christian life consisting of one thing....don't think for yourself for you may make a mistake. The bottom line in all of this....is that the speculation itself is not the problem....the inability to moderate is the problem. Like it or not we are going to have to speculate as the last days events start to take place....and that is what we may be doing right now....in fact it is in as much commanded of us to remain vigilant so that we are not not taken by surprise or taken in by false prophets. Mistakes will always be made....but where is our faith that God knows this and will give us the wisdom to discern the mistakes?
