John 12:5, 6....(NKJV)....Mary had just used some costly fragrant oil on the feet of Jesus...and Judas took exception to it...." 'Why was this fragrant oil not sold for 300 denarii and given to the poor?' This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it." Just because a politician makes a statement about wasteful spending....doesn't guarantee that he is concerned about anyone else other than himself.
This is bad stuff...what is going on in Washington. I use that common....almost street vernacular....'bad stuff'....to hopefully express more than indignation...but alarm. I listen to men or women who I know are genuine Christians....but they act like Hare Krishnas who for some ungodly reason fell head over heels for a charismatic guru.
How does one who has always been compassionate....lose all their compassion on the national....and international level? This would never have happened to the church forty years ago. There were heretical teachers that could come into the sheepfold....but not a Reverend Moon....or as with today....an Elon Musk. Donald Trump could never have bought himself a seat on the dais of a Christian event back then. Everyone would have protested.
John MacArthur....a man who preached more warnings than anyone else over how to spot a false prophet....not only missed one in Donald Trump....but in effect strongly endorsed him for president of the most powerful nation on this earth....why....because the false prophet was deemed less dangerous than the liberal woke Democrat?
Franklin Graham....known....and rightfully well-respected....even rightfully admired....for his ministry of compassion....to this day....is totally blind to the most willfully and deceitfully uncompassionate man ever to occupy our White House.
This has to be supernatural. I've posted that comment before. This has to be biblical prophecy unfolding.
I am posting this about 9 PM on Friday....March 7. I boot up John MacArthur's church just about every Lord's Day at 2:30 PM....(EST)....hoping to see that John MacArthur is back in his pulpit....for he has had very serious health issues over the past fourteen months....and we need him....evangelicalism needs him....the old John MacArthur....someone on a national level to warn us once again. Billy Graham is gone....R. C. Sproul is gone....John Piper for whatever reason has been too quiet.....and Tim Keller is gone. Even Pat Robertson would have shouted from the rooftops that something was terribly amiss today. David Wilkerson would be running up and down the aisles of a Turning Point USA....young adult-centered conference yelling....'Ichabod....Ichabod!
