On April 10, 2020....Trump was asked how many deaths could be expected from the coronavirus. His response was...."Could be 60 (thousand)....could be 70 (thousand)....could be 75....could be 55." There were over a million Covid and Covid related deaths before it was all over. I was having lunch with a Christian friend yesterday....and we were discussing the stock market swings....and my friend's comment on Trump's tariffs was...."It could be genius?" To go along with the Signalgate....a few days before that happened....Trump himself or someone phoned who they thought was South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster....only they speed-dialed former National Security Advisor H. R. McMaster. Trump was obviously surprised and then just berated McMaster....who has been a critic of Trump. Vance a few days ago called the Chinese people...."peasants." The Secretary of Homeland Security.....appeared at a prison in El Salvador....wearing a $50,000 watch....and looking like a runway model....later she donned a protective vest....and held an automatic weapon....pointed to the man's head next to her. Folks....these are not geniuses!
On February 21, 1972....my plane took off from Tan Son Nhut Air Base outside Saigon....I was headed home. The same day President Nixon...on Air force One....landed in Beijing. His reason for the trip was to make war with Red China less likely. On April 30, 1975....Chinese variations of the Soviet T-54 tanks....rolled onto that tarmac of Tan Son Nhut Air Base. We watered China as if it were a plant from which we would receive fruit. Well that plant proved to be of the invasive type....that competes with our plants for....as Wikipedia puts it...."moisture, sunlight, nutrients and space."

As I type this....Breitbart....the worst of the worst media....they laugh and sneer about everything....is headlining a story that begins with this sentence...."An increasingly desperate China on Friday....pleaded with European Union members to join with Beijing in resisting....[Trump]."
London's second greatest preacher of the 19th century....Anglican J. C. Ryle....wrote this in his book....Holiness...."In time of war it is the worst mistake to underrate your enemy and try to make a little war." It was a quote. Although he did not give a name....he described him as...."The wisest general that ever lived in England." I presume that would be Oliver Cromwell.
If America had been in dire economic straits....with unemployment everywhere....there may have been a place for a tariff war....but such was not the case....as this that is happening is being done for ego and for revenge and for extreme profiteering.
In the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares....when the servants asked the owner of the land if they should go and pull up all the weeds. the owner of the land said....this is Jesus teaching all who read this...."No....lest while you gather up the tares...you also uproot the wheat with them. Let them both grow together until the harvest....and at the time of harvest i will say to the reapers...'First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them....but gather the wheat into my barn'."
Trump wants to pull up the weeds of China....but he is also going after his enemy who planted those tares. As we can already see....he wants to pull up the weeds of waste in government....but he is also destroying wheat in the process. He is purging our intelligence agencies....but pulling out valuable experience in the process. This is not genius. The seven sons of Sceva saw miraculous things being done in the name of the Lord Jesus....and they barged right in and started trying to cast out demons....but as recorded in Acts 19...."...the evil spirit answered and said....'Jesus I know....and Paul I recognize....but who are you? And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them....mastered all of them....and overpowered them...'."
Update: Two missiles struck a Ukranian city at 10:15 today....while Palm Sunday civilians were worshiping. There is plenty of video if you can take it of bodies all over the street....yet Trump's main negotiator....in an interview with who else....Tucker Carlson....had said that Putin is a great leader and not a bad guy. Even General Kellogg voiced disgust at the attack.
April 15....I held off on this because there had to be a mistake in the reporting. The Secretary of Education apparently doesn't know what artificial intelligence is....or maybe she knows the basics....but thought that it was called....A1....which in this typeface....looks very similar to....AI.....but still!
