Lord's Day Post

It has been a long day of travel from the beach....fifteen hours....with four traffic tie-ups....thankfully no accidents....and about two hours at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte.....our third time there....of which we always enjoy. All I want to do here is recommend a Charles Spurgeon sermon that we listened to in the car....if you are interested on the Lord's Day which began fifteen minutes ago. Spurgeon preached this in April of 1891....less than nine months before he went to be the His Lord who he had faithfully served for a half century. You can Google this at....Spurgeon Sermon YouTube....Is God In The Camp. May God be in many of our churches this morning....or....In The Camp....as Spurgeon described in this sermon....for if we think that simply by having the trappings of worship present....as Hophni and Phinehas similarly thought bringing the Ark to the battle would insure victory....(it did....for the Philistines)....then there will be no power in the sermons....and no one convicted....or overwhelmed by the joy of His presence.

Note: This particular sermon will be interrupted by an ad or two....of which you can just tap the....skip the ads....when they start.
