I sat by the television set.....(with a computer on my lap)....for most of the evening....and into the early morning.....probably just like many of the readers here. And I was neutral. I only wanted to see who was going to win. Both of these people were judgments from God on us. I did not want to go to bed and then wake up in the morning....and reach for my iPhone to see who won. I did not want a sudden announcement. Does that make sense to anyone. As it turned out....it slowly became obvious. So.....we have a victor....and I have two questions to Christians. The first question has obvious answers. That question is this....
Q1: How is a Trump victory....with help in the Congress....going to positively affect America?
A: Well I can go on and on in answering that theorhetically....starting off with this....Kamala Harris will not be president of the United States. Future Supreme Court judges look more positive. The insanity of wokeism will take a big hit. The economy and education and military preparedness....and so many more things that conservatives have fought for over so many decades will move in that same positive direction.
I do have to add this though. The Ukraine and NATO....which means Europe...are in deeper trouble now....and then there is this....Israel. With Joe Biden....even though he bickered with Netanyahu....the status quo of America as a strong ally remained. With Kamala Harris that was in big jeopardy....and with Donald Trump....well it will always depend on how the Israeli situation effects Donald Trump himself at the time! But the second question is the only important question....and everything in the answer to the first question is dependent upon it!
Q2: I'm trying to put this in as few words as possible....we were under judgment....all of us....forty years ago....and we are so far worse today that we cannot even recognize the gospel....and are totally blind to warnings....so much so that we elevated a genuine biblical false prophet whose latest prophecy is that a golden age for America is coming. Franklin Graham and Robert Jeffress....should God will it....someday will see how totally blind they were....and Jonathan Cahn will see that his prophecies were coming from the wrong direction....and John MacArthur....who warned the church for over four decades to....Beware of False Prophets....will realize that he sent one of them to us....with a strong recommendation. So will this election outcome alter in any way God's strong warnings to us?
A: The answer is that it doesn't change the warning....in fact as worldly as even we in the church were 24 hours ago.....we are probably twice as worldly and boastful today....so if anything it would exacerbate the warning! The celebrations will indeed be wild. National ministers will bask in the victory....in the Supreme Court judges....and immigration....and armies.....but lost in translation is that it all means absolutely nothing in God's eyes....and indeed the elation will prove to be fleeting....and turn to horror as we finally realize that we were taken in by the very deceptions that we once warned others of!
