Preface: The following was posted a few days before the election. Jonathan Cahn yesterday explained on a podcast that the video I mention below was taken on the spur of the moment by an attendee of the summit....placed on line and then went viral. In that podcast Jonathan Cahn supplies his followers with a professional video of his remarks to the summit...and to Donald Trump himself who was in the audience. Also in that podcast that you can Google at....Jonathan Cahn, Trump wins and what it means....Cahn stands before an animated American flag background and paints a portrait of Trump that mixes some truth with gross distortions. Cahn very clearly says that what he gave at the National Faith Summit was a prophetic word from God. Jonathan Cahn is a false prophet. Do you think that his books are wonderful? You are following a false prophet. Evangelicalism right now is at rock bottom....hopefully it is rock bottom. John MacArthur a few years ago published a letter directed at California governor Newsom. I don't know how far that this deception with Trump can go....I suspect much further. MacArthur was deceived....but he is still John MacArthur. I would expect a similar published letter in the future on Donald Trump....and the false prophets that exalt another false prophet in Trump. John MacArthur will again tomorrow be absent from his pulpit....recovering from serious health issues. Please pray with me that God would....if it be in His perfect will....restore John MacArthur health and his discernment....for right now we are a flock of sheep without a shepherd to warn us!
This Was Not Something That You Would Want To Say To A Man Like Donald Trump
What we are witnessing in Donald Trump is supernatural. Well....we all agree on that I'm sure....but that is where the agreement will end.
I listened to Jonathan Cahn's 'prophetic word' on Donald Trump....(who apparently was in the audience of a few thousand ministers)....I listened to it three times....to make sure that what I actually heard was what I thought that I heard. It was.
This isn't one of his books....where he just reveals 'ancient mysteries'....this was God....giving him words.....about Donald Trump....while hundreds if not thousands of ministers of one sort or another....in the audience.....cheered....and raised their hands....and shouted praises out to God!
I have witnessed....time after time....today being the most recent....an instance where a mature Christian of decades....admits to not liking Donald Trump....but will vote for him. They should have recognized a big problem back in 2018....and told him to go in 2020....and demanded that he not run again by 2022. They had as decent and capable a man in Mike Pence that any Christian could want....and gave him the boot....and now they think that by just saying that they don't like Trump....that it makes everything OK? They were listening to their podcasts and Fox cable and talk radio....and got no help of warning whatsoever from their pulpits.
This is all end-times delusion and deception. We evangelicals used to wonder things like...how could intelligent people become Moonies? And then we used wo wonder how Joel Osteen could actually fill an arena of followers? Good questions they were. The answer is that there is a power working in a Reverend Moon or a Joel Osteen....and in like manner....there is a power working in Donald Trump. It is supernatural. Nothing else could possibly explain the spiritual blindness.
Jonathan Cahn started with a legitimate treatise in.....The Harbinger....and came out with a second book a little too speculative....and then a third even a little worse....all the time building up followers....and now....eight books into it....he has fallen into the role of a false prophet.....a false prophet who exalts another false prophet!
I am not looking forward to Tuesday....(Lord willing for we do not know what a day brings)....four days from now. I don't have any preference at all in the presidential race. God warned us of judgment for a half century....and it would be the height of absurdity to think that some election in a country where half the people are pagan and the other half just wants to make America great again....it would be the height of absurdity to think anything but that God would laugh at such nonsense.
All this election can do is give us a glimpse of how God might possibly judge us and the world. He has already judged the church first. We might just want to keep in the back of our mind the biblical warning....."For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." 1 Thessalonians 5:3 KJV
One last thought on this....Jonathan Cahn rained all those exaltations....from God....down upon Donald Trump....apparently while he was right there in the audience! This is not something that you want to do with a man like Donald Trump....telling him how much power God will give him....for only God knows what the extent of Trump's megalomania is.
Addendum: Brothers and sisters in Christ....hearing the preached word is our food and our sustenance....but we do not have that today! This is why we missed who Donald Trump is! This is a monumentally weak age for preaching. You may take umbrage thinking that your pastor is a good preacher....but you have nothing to compare this with. Go back for now....to preachers of the past such as Spurgeon or Lloyd-Jones....until God....should it be His will to have mercy upon us....awakens our pulpits to what they should be.
