Keep in mind that our nominee for president in the last election would promise people at every rally....probably more than half of who were evangelicals....that he would keep ‘low-income’ people from moving into their suburbs....and the people cheered....USA USA USA....as our pulpits said nothing.
Robert Kennedy was the most compassionate politician I have ever encountered in my almost sixty years of following politics. We on the....'right'....sneer at his memory.
How did it come to be that a man who had dedicated his entire life trying to fight deadly viruses….might as well be the devil to us…but we defended until no longer possible....a man who spent his life doing the work of the KGB?
We conservatives held the high ground on ethics for decades….no one occupies it today….for we were lured off of it in the past five years. It does not appear to be purposeful or designed....but white strongholds are being formed....that should be incompatible with spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. It might be in a violent sport that fits our aggression. It might be through popular shock-podcasters. It might be in seaside retirement communities....patriots....where the uniform is Bermuda shorts and an American flag t-shirt. Go to Fox or Breitbart....pick a story that relates to the troubles in America....and read the comments. You won't like it....but this is what we are becoming.
