It was not disappointing....but let me qualify that statement....I wasn't expecting much....and considering that the near death experiences are the focal point....the supposed evidence that the film is supposed to give....is so sparse and speculative....that I wasn't really worried about the 90 people who watched the film in the auditorium along with me....for the film did not do any more damage than all the books and news stories have already done.
Is this really Christianity today? This film....in fact this whole....'I went to heaven and returned' nonsense....can only exist in that part of a Christianity that has no sound foundation....little understanding of redemption....no mortification....and no real dependence upon God's written word for their information.
I typed a few more paragraphs here.....looked it over.....and just erased it. The specifics of the film are not really necessary. If someone wants to believe this stuff.....they are going to believe it. There were probably eight teens in my theater row....and I cannot imagine how this film can affect any of them unto a real repentance and redemption.
