I have this question & a few comments to make concerning the turn of events between the United States and Israel. If America were to experience a terror attack where....let me just pick a large number....100,000 Americans were killed....with a known terrorist nation positively identified....what do you think our response would be? 100,000 Americans killed folks? I think you know what would happen next.
The October 2023 Sukkot terrorist attack took well over a thousand lives that day....along with 248 hostages...which in comparison to our population would be close to 50,000 Americans....and this was not only a terror attack....as in a bomb....but a horror attack....because of what happened to these people during and after the attack.
Jesus said that a house divided will fall. We like to throw that in a conversation at times but rarely seriously consider the implications as it pertains to our nation today....but that is exactly what is happening....and it is happening in Israel also. There are reports today that our State Department is....fractured.
Jonah gave Nineveh a warning....and the people saw the bleached-out profit....and that was enough. It bought them over a hundred years. Nahum did not give them a warning. The warnings for Nineveh were over....he simply told them that judgment was coming....just like Daniel did not give Belshazzar a warning at the feast with the writing on the wall....he simply told him what was going to happen....and it happened that night.
We in America were given warning after warning after warning after warning....but we are not into warnings....because world wars and things like that do not happen to us....but to other generations. We explained away the pandemic. We're ignoring Putin. Pandemics are for sissies. Yeah AI is probably going to destroy us....but not until we make America great again!
One side is trying to get out of our commitment to NATO. Taiwan has to be worried....and Israel.....Israel....is right in the middle of this mess.
This is a true statement but it would be redundant or moot to use it....'if we abandon Israel like Biden is threatening....God will judge us severely.' This is moot because God has made it clear to all discerning Christians that we are long past warnings....and judgment is indeed coming.
God....had warned Nineveh....and had later brought judgment to the city....Nineveh....that we resemble so much.....past perfect tense.
