We in America are on the cusp of...what word should I use....chaos just doesn't do it....for we have been in chaos for years....pandemonium....mayhem....bedlam? How about anarchy or revolution....or worse? Madness fits. Let me digress....
Let's go back to Petrograd in 1917....a tsar....and people who do not like the tsar....a revolution of sorts in February....and a smaller group who do not like the tsar or anybody else....the Bolsheviks....another revolution....let's murder the tsar and his family....and then let's put the world through hell for seventy years....and then lets do it again!
Or let's go back to Berlin 1933....a government....people who do not like the government....a revolution of sorts....and a smaller group that does not like anybody else....particularly the Jews....the Sturmabteilung.....or the Brownshirts....another revolution of sorts.....and let's put the world through hell for seven years or so....and there are those today saying....let's do it again!
I am not referring to either of these ideologies here. There is a time for that but not now. I'm referring to two nations that lost control of everything. Solzhenitsyn had an answer for why it happened in Russia...."We forgot God." Bonhoeffer had an answer for what happened in Germany...."Satan does not here fill us with hatred of God, but with forgetfulness of God."
That is what happened to us today.....we forgot God. They were singing Christian hymns in the streets of the February revolution in Petrograd....while the other side sang their hymns in church....but all that soon stopped....and they continued to sing their hymns in the German church.....for a while. They didn't forget that there was God....they just forgot who He was. We haven't forgot that there is God....we can sing with the best of them....we just likewise forgot who He is....and because we forgot who He is....we cannot see the full extent of the madness!
I wrote a post only sixteen days ago....(it's seems like months ago).....that I titled....It's Becoming Obvious That The Center Will Not Hold. In that post was this....
