The Red Heifer

                 It is a topic gathering interest everywhere....not only in Christian communities....but in secular Israeli circles.....and possibly especially among Palestinians. All you have to do is Google Red Heifer and you can read and watch all the YouTube on the tropic that you want.
                 Summarizing it....a perfect unblemished....never even been put to work....red heifer....a calf somewhere over a year in age....is needed for the purification process for Jews to once again enter the temple mount....and offer sacrifice....this after the Dome of the Rock is destroyed.
                 We evangelicals have been reading about this for a long long time....but it is because the far-right religious communities in Israel have been working directly toward this for a long time....that Palestinians are becoming increasingly concerned.
                 So an evangelical Texan rancher raised....and then donated....and then sent over to Israel....five or so very good candidates to be the red heifer....(this is not an easy task or it would have been done by now.)
                 The Jerusalem Post....today....reported that one official Hamas statement claimed that the recent war was started was because the Jews are getting close to getting that red heifer. (you can find this on today's JP website)
                 Heightening the already tense anticipation....this Spring of 2024....the month of Nisan to be exact....(which started yesterday)....in some religious quarters....is supposed to be the time....or....the....time.....for that sacrifice.
                 This post isn't even a primer on the red heifer....the reader can look all that stuff on their own if they are interested....it's more to give one more piece of evidence that the days are over for us nonchalantly saying that....'Oh Jesus might return in twenty years or so'....or some such meaningless gibberish....for all one should have to do is open their eyes....to know that we are not dealing in decades anymore!
